Join our team of talented professionals as a Garment Technician, where you will play a crucial role in the development of CK Sport and CK Loungewear products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Compile and analyze fitting comments to ensure consistency across all collections.
• Evaluate garment construction and quality to identify potential risks and provide alternative solutions.
• Work closely with Global technical teams and Hub cross-functional partners to uphold design intent and ensure fit accuracy.
• Manage sample T&A, assist with vendor communication, and follow up on necessary updates.
• Lead vendor accreditation training and identify programs/styles for PP and Fit Approval.
• Build strong relationships with vendors and cross-functional partners to drive collaboration and alignment.
• Participate in projects to create and define new SOPs and best practices.

Internal Contacts: Sourcing Team, Raw Material Team, and Technical Design Team

External Contacts: Vendors and Suppliers

Decision Making:

• Responsible for solving discrepancies on pattern/grading/YY encountered by vendors.
• Make decisions on sample approval, pattern construction, fitting results, and quality standards.
• Able to make decisions on bringing/altering new benefits beneficial for the brand and company.

Resourcefulness and Creativity:

• Build libraries/paper pattern matching records to improve group process efficiency.
• Provide guidance to hubs and vendors to ensure seamless workflow.
• Utilize computer knowledge to perform tasks effectively in systems.

Qualifications and Experience:

Education and Experience:

• Diploma or above in Technical Design, Pattern Grading, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years or above relevant experience.

Skills:

• Knowledge of fitting, pattern making, grading, construction, and testing in related production categories.
• Background in sports bra and loungewear preferred.
• Solid working knowledge of sewing and stitch properties and overall garment detail.
• Organized and detailed-oriented, takes immediate action to resolve issues and problems.
• Calibrated mindset builds good working relationships and leads to team building.
• Excellent communication skills able to communicate effectively across the team and organization.
• Knowledge of live model garment fitting and ability to instruct a vendor on garment manufacturability.
• Knowledge of Lectra system.
• Knowledge of PLM systems.
• Strong MS Office Skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
• Fluency in English.
