About the Role
The Performance Dressage Coach reports to the Senior Manager, Equestrian (BREC), and plays a key role in delivering specialist dressage coaching and schooling of members' and Clubs' horses. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in dressage coaching and competition, and will be able to work effectively in a team environment to achieve business objectives.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality dressage coaching to livery clients and more experienced riding school clients.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Manager, Equestrian (BREC), Head of School Line (HOSL) and the Retraining Unit Officer (RTUO) to improve service to the Members and the production of suitable equestrian horses for livery and riding school use.
  • Develop and implement programs to encourage more participation in dressage in Hong Kong.
  • Assist in the assessment of retired racehorses and advise the Retraining Unit where required.
  • Select suitable horses for development for use in the discipline of dressage and actively assist in their production.
  • Work with the Senior Manager, Equestrian (BREC), Equestrian Affairs Department to develop and execute youth programmes to develop talented youngsters in dressage.

What We're Looking For
  • A highly experienced dressage rider and coach with a strong background in competition and coaching.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment to achieve business objectives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel regularly and attend horse assessments.
  • Fluent speaker of English; good understanding of Cantonese will be an advantage.
