The Role: Chief Technology Officer

We seek a visionary CTO to drive our technical strategy and help shape the future of FIND. The ideal candidate will have deep software development experience, a proven track record of leading tech teams, and a passion for emerging technologies.

This equity-only position offers a significant stake in a promising startup at the forefront of PropTech. As a key member of the leadership team, the CTO will play an instrumental role in shaping our mission and helping us scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of all technical aspects of the product, including writing code, building infrastructure, and ensuring quality and performance.
  • Design and implement the core tech stack, establishing foundational architecture and setting up systems for long-term scalability.
  • Collaborate closely with co-founders to define product priorities, create technical roadmaps, and turn vision into tangible product features.
  • Build and maintain the product through direct involvement in coding, debugging, and deploying new features, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
  • Research and implement new technologies, staying ahead of trends and integrating innovative solutions into the platform.
  • Set the technical direction of the company and establish best practices, while also working hands-on to execute them in the product.

Requirements

  • Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in software development, with a proven track record of building and shipping products from start to finish. At least 2-3 years in a leadership or senior technical role (e.g., CTO, VP Engineering, Lead Developer).
  • Startup Mentality: Comfort with working in a fast-paced, resource-constrained environment where you will wear multiple hats—writing code, building infrastructure, solving complex technical challenges, and setting technical direction.
  • Leadership & Ownership: Ability to independently manage the technical roadmap and make critical decisions on architecture, development, and product features. A hands-on leader who is as comfortable coding as they are setting strategy.
  • Collaboration: Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with non-technical co-founders to translate business vision into technical solutions.
  • Problem-Solving: A creative and resourceful problem-solver who thrives in ambiguity and is motivated to create innovative solutions in a rapidly evolving space.
