Job Title: Accounting Officer, Regulatory Reporting

ING Bank is seeking a highly skilled Accounting Officer to join our team in Asia Pacific. The successful candidate will be responsible for local and head office financial reporting, management reporting, tax reporting, and accounts payable processing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and prepare local regulatory reports before submission to the local regulator HKMA;
  • Support the team during the month-end closing process;
  • Process financial events (accruals, journals);
  • Prepare weekly vendor payments and staff claim reimbursements;
  • Perform financial key controls (reconciliations, suspense accounts) surrounding the general ledger.
Requirements:
  • University degree in Accounting or Finance;
  • Minimum of 3-5 years' working experience, preferably with a foreign commercial bank;
  • Knowledge and experience in the preparation of HKMA banking returns;
  • Hands-on attitude.
