Network Planning Manager

Job Title: Network Planning Manager
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Network Planning Manager to join our team at Classy Wheeler Limited. As a key member of our network development team, you will be responsible for designing, planning, and developing our China SD-WAN, China Premium Internet Access, and MPLS-VPN networks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement network design standards and guidelines to ensure efficient and scalable network architecture.
- Lead the planning and implementation of network coverage and capacity expansion, including network point-of-presence, network node & trunk, and service provider partner network-to-network interconnection trunks.
- Manage network capacity to achieve just-in-time network capacity to meet business demand growth.
- Optimize network costs, including improvement of service provisioning costs and network capacity utilization.
- Identify and address network vulnerabilities and security loopholes, and formulate plans to improve these weaknesses.
Requirements:
- University Degree holder or equivalent in Information Engineering, Telecom Engineering, or Computer Science.
- A minimum of 8 years' working experience in the IT & Telecom industry, with at least 2 years in network development, design, planning, or technical support roles.
- Hands-on experience in formulating and implementing wide-area network (WAN) network design & planning guidelines.
- Experience in network project management of mainland China carriers or enterprises' WAN projects is an advantage.
- Self-motivated and result-oriented, with good business acumen, analytic skills, verbal and written communications skills, and interpersonal skills.
- High proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese (Putonghua).
