About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic Specification Consultant to join our team at WAC Architectural Lighting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting our premium indoor and outdoor lighting products, building strong relationships with key influencers in the industry, and providing valuable field insights and feedback.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote WAC Lighting products to architects, interior designers, contractors, and other key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with distribution partners on specification strategies and keep them informed of ongoing plans and activities.
  • Engage with the local lighting community through events and participation.
  • Adapt sales plans based on market dynamics and adjust forecasting accordingly.
  • Share field insights with product marketing, development, and R&D teams.
  • Work from home office with regular meetings at our factories in Thailand and China.
  • Report directly to the VP of International Sales for SEA/Middle East.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in outside sales with a strong network within the local lighting specification community.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with a likable and positive attitude.
  • Understanding of project specification business procedures, lighting design principles, electrical systems, and the latest lighting technology.
  • Fluent in English and the local language, with proficiency in MS Office, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Willingsness to travel up to 80% of the time to meet with clients and specifiers, with most time spent in assigned markets.
