About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team in Hong Kong. As a key member of our Finance Consulting team, you will be responsible for building enterprise-grade data solutions to execute clients' visions.

">

You will work closely with our technical architects and application designers to understand data conversion requirements and design conversion procedures and applications.

">

Your responsibilities will include developing, constructing, and testing architectures such as databases and large-scale processing solutions, creating ETLs/ELTs to handle data from various sources and formats, and providing advice on data solutions and development tools selection.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Bulk Data Processing: Design, develop, and deploy efficient bulk data processing solutions to meet client needs.">
  • Data Integration: Develop and maintain data integration pipelines to combine data from multiple sources.">
  • ETL Development: Create Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes to migrate data between systems.">
  • Database Administration: Design, implement, and manage databases to ensure optimal performance.">

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree: In mathematics, statistics, computer science, engineering, or a related field.">
  • Programming skills: Proficiency in languages such as SQL, Java, Python, C++, Scala, or SAS.">
  • Cloud computing: Experience with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, or Alibaba Cloud.">
  • Agile methodologies: Knowledge of Agile and DevOps principles.">
  • Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.">
