Job Description
As an Actuarial Intern, you will support the day-to-day activities of our business area, gaining practical knowledge of the industry, company, and role.
This function involves preparing financial reports and projections for both internal and external use. You will perform calculations, data extraction, and checking using spreadsheet models and/or Prophet software, verifying valuation basis applied in financial models, and supporting coding of new products and enhancements.
You will also perform analysis and explanation of results, as well as support ad-hoc tasks assigned by managers.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need a university degree in Actuarial Science, Risk Management, Mathematics, Statistics, Insurance, or Finance with a strong mathematics background. Good analytical and communication skills are essential, as well as a good command of written and spoken English. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of Prophet, Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), or other computer programming languages are advantages.
