Contract Actuary - Risk Management

We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Actuary to provide comprehensive support to our risk management teams. The successful candidate will have expertise in actuarial science, mathematics, or related fields, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks associated with insurance products.
  • Analyze data to inform risk-based decisions and develop strategies to minimize potential losses.
  • Develop and maintain risk models, ensuring accuracy and reliability of results.
  • Provide expert advice on risk management best practices and emerging trends.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or related field.
  • SOA qualification (in progress) is an advantage.
  • Proficient in Excel, Access, and other relevant tools.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
