About the Role:
The Senior Finance Specialist will be part of the Investment Management team, providing support to financial control and business partnering responsibilities. This role will reside within Investment Management Finance, a team dedicated to providing financial services to Morgan Stanley's Investment Management segment (MSIM), a leading global asset manager across public and private markets.
Main duties/responsibilities include:
- Preparing monthly and quarterly revenue/expense reports for Business Units in Asia.
- Performing periodic revenue/expense analysis/projections for Business Units in Asia.
- Preparation of month-end reconciliations and sign off on Revenue/Expense/Balance Sheet.
- Liaising with Business Units and other functional teams to support general partners' Private Fund activities.
- Collaborating with other functional areas of Finance and divisions to facilitate local business operations and ensure proper P&L booking/reporting.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years working experience in a similar role desirable.
- Good management reporting and financial accounting skills.
- Strong PC skills and proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to quickly grasp new technology and tools.
- Good analytical and numerical abilities, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
