Overview of the Position

In the role of SENIOR PUBLISHER, your responsibilities will include:

  • Executing a robust 12-month commissioning strategy aimed at introducing 170 new Legal titles for Westlaw Asia over the next three years, marking a significant new product development initiative for Southeast Asia.
  • Utilizing both Thomson Reuters' extensive customer networks and independent research to identify General Editors, authors, and contributors for the development of Annotated Legislation products.
  • Engaging with top-tier Legal authors, establishing publishing schedules, and ensuring the timely submission of manuscripts.
  • Overseeing third-party editing processes and coordinating internally on product setup and launch pathways for content on Westlaw Asia.
  • Recognizing and managing additional revenue streams from Print title publishing of Hong Kong Annotated Legislative content available on Westlaw Asia.

Candidate Profile

You will be an ideal candidate for the SENIOR PUBLISHER position if you possess:

  • A proven history in New Product Development (NPD), preferably within the Legal sector.
  • Expertise in commercial brand management and achieving ambitious revenue growth targets.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset coupled with exceptional problem-solving abilities.
  • A structured approach to project management, employing systems, software, and AI tools to enhance efficiency in workload management.
  • Strong stakeholder management capabilities, fostering relationships across various teams with publishing, editorial, content, and operational expertise.
