Electrical Hardware Designer for IoT Innovations

Our ideal candidate will design, develop and optimize IoT sensors and related devices at LeafIoT Technology Limited.
About the RoleWe are seeking an Electrical Hardware Designer to join our team in Hong Kong SAR, China or Singapore. This mid-senior level position requires a strong background in electronics engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a related field. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing hardware components, including circuit design, PCB layout, and sensor integration.
As an Electrical Hardware Designer, you will work closely with software engineers, data scientists, and project managers to ensure seamless integration between hardware and software systems. You will also be responsible for collaborating with manufacturing partners to transition prototypes into scalable production, ensuring quality control and compliance.

Key Responsibilities- Design and develop IoT hardware sensors, including circuit design, PCB layout, and sensor integration.
- Create and refine prototypes, conduct rigorous testing, and validate designs to ensure reliability and performance.
- Develop 3D models for sensor enclosures and hardware components, optimizing for durability, aesthetics, and functionality.
- Collaborate with manufacturing partners to transition prototypes into scalable production, ensuring quality control and compliance.
- Work closely with software engineers, data scientists, and project managers to ensure seamless integration between hardware and software systems.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of circuit design, PCB layout, and microcontroller-based systems.
- Proficiency in 3D modeling tools such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Fusion 360.
- Hands-on experience with hardware prototyping tools and techniques.
- Familiarity with IoT protocols and sensor integration.
Competitive salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum.
