About the Role

We are seeking a high-calibre professional to join our team as an Asset Liability Management Analyst. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our Asset Liability Management (ALM) model development and conducting User Acceptance Tests (UAT). You will also be responsible for producing ALM results for Senior Asset and Liability (SAA) review and Total Allowance to Assets (TAA) range assessment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical support to ALM model development and UAT
  • Production of ALM results for SAA review and TAA range assessment
  • Analytical support to the assessment of Economic Capital (EC), IFRS17 CSM & PBT, and local statutory solvency
  • Production and consolidation of regular Group ALM risk Management Information (MI) report for Global Insurance ALCO
  • Production of regular real-world economic scenarios for ALM purposes
  • Analysis of asset and liability data for ALM and hedging strategies
  • Participation in the implementation of ALM initiatives, management information (MI), capital optimisation, and strategic projects
  • Cashflow projection and stress testing to better understand liquidity risk of different investment initiatives on the balance sheet
  • Support model governance required by Group Model Risk policy
Requirements
  • 1-5 years of experience in insurance companies or consultancy firms
  • Near-qualified or qualified actuary or actuarial/mathematic degree
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including the ability to think outside the box
  • Some experience with SunGuard Asset Liabilities Stochastic (ALS) model or Prophet model
  • Good skills in Microsoft Excel, VBA, Python software, and Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Fluent in English
  • Team player
