HSSE Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSSE) professional to join our team at Maersk. As a HSSE Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of health, safety, and environmental practices within our warehouse facility.

• Develop and Implement HSSE Policies: Assist in developing and implementing HSSE policies, procedures, and practices to ensure a safe working environment.
• Conduct Regular Inspections: Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential hazards and unsafe conditions within the warehouse facility.
• Investigate Incidents: Investigate incidents and accidents, analyzing root causes, and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Provide Training and Awareness: Provide training and awareness programs on HSSE topics, including proper equipment handling, emergency response, and workplace ergonomics.
• Ensure Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant HSSE regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
• Communicate Safety Information: Conduct safety meetings and toolbox talks to communicate safety-related information and promote a safety-conscious culture.
• Monitor HSSE Programs: Monitor the effectiveness of HSSE programs through regular audits and inspections.
• Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address HSSE concerns and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain accurate records and documentation related to HSSE activities, including incident reports, training records, and safety inspections.
• Stay Updated on Industry Trends: Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes impacting warehouse HSSE, and implement necessary updates to policies and procedures.
• Implement ISO14001 and ISO45001: Assist in the implementation and maintenance of ISO14001 (Environmental Management System) and ISO45001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management System).
• Conduct Emergency Response Drills: Conduct emergency response drills to ensure preparedness and response to potential hazards.
• Contractor-Related Safety Management: Manage contractor-related safety and PPE inspections to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.

• Degree in Occupational Safety and Health: Diploma or above level in Occupational Safety and Health / Environmental, Safety Science or other related disciplines.
• Work Experience: 2 years above relevant post working experience in HSSE field. Warehouse storage industry experience is preferred.
• Language Requirements: Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Computer Skills: Good PC knowledge of Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
