Role Overview

Operational Responsibilities

  • Assist the Duty MCC Controller in monitoring and managing the technical status of the fleet, maintaining ongoing communication with local and remote maintenance service providers for continuous maintenance task coordination.
  • Conduct troubleshooting for aircraft defects and propose rectification plans, providing on-site technical support during maintenance operations to minimize disruptions.
  • Respond to incidents requiring emergency procedures, ensuring timely notifications to relevant parties and coordinating fleet-wide inspections as necessary.
  • Oversee deferred defect management, ensuring compliance with ADD/CADD/Repetitive Defect protocols.
  • Identify emerging reliability issues within the fleet and collaborate with Technical Services for effective resolution.
  • Work collaboratively with Line Maintenance, MROs, and service providers on technical matters.
  • Provide on-site assistance for technical and maintenance activities as required.

Planning Responsibilities

  • Monitor and forecast the scheduling of AMS tasks within a 7-day maintenance requirement window.
  • Ensure compliance with minor check schedules (72 hours & 10 days).
  • Distribute workload and coordinate with Line Maintenance and MROs on overnight work plans to optimize maintenance scheduling.
  • Communicate with Line Maintenance and maintenance service providers regarding operational changes impacting maintenance plans, resolving any scheduling conflicts.
  • Lead daily meetings with Line Maintenance, MROs, and planning teams to discuss critical tasks and priorities.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure availability of parts, materials, tools, and manpower for scheduled work.
  • Ensure all assigned tasks are completed as per the planned schedule, with proper documentation and data updates.

Candidate Profile

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in aircraft maintenance.
  • Possession of a Degree or Diploma in Engineering or equivalent qualifications demonstrating relevant experience in aircraft maintenance.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of effective liaison with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
  • Willingness to work in variable shifts and adapt to changing work conditions.
  • Basic computer skills, with experience in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Candidates with more experience and a valid HKCAD license may be considered for a higher role.
