Role Purpose

HK Express Airways Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aircraft Maintenance Support Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and controlling the fleet technical status, maintaining continuous liaison with local and outstation maintenance service providers for ongoing maintenance task arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Duty MCC Controller to monitor and control the fleet technical status;
  • Perform aircraft defect troubleshooting and provide defect rectification solution plans;
  • Aware of any incident that results in emergency procedures and provides notification to all concerned parties;
  • Oversee deferred defect levels and ensure ADD/CADD/Repetitive Defect status for time compliance control;
  • Effectively identify emerging fleet reliability issues and work closely with Technical Services to ensure effective timely mitigation and resolution are implemented;
  • Co-operate with LM, MROs, and service providers on any technical issues;
  • Provide on-site support for any technical or maintenance activities.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 3 years' work experience in aircraft maintenance;
  • A Degree/Diploma holder in Engineering discipline and/or a qualification that demonstrates suitable experience in aircraft maintenance;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external parties;
  • Proficiency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin;
  • Willingness to work in variable shift duty and adapt to varying working conditions;
  • Basic computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office programs.
