Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Network Security Architect to join our team at Classy Wheeler Limited. As a critical member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing secure network architectures that meet the needs of our growing business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and Manage Infrastructure: Design, implement, and manage technologies, infrastructure, and platforms to ensure seamless operation and security.
  • Network Security: Continuously analyze, review, and maintain the network infrastructure security to prevent unauthorized access and protect against cyber threats.
  • Capacity Planning: Plan, design, and implement network capacity planning to effectively manage and predict resources, ensuring the growth of our business is supported proactively.
  • Incident Response: Participate in escalated incidents/problems by diagnosing the occurrence of incidents/attacks and rectifying the underlying issues promptly.
  • Security Controls: Assess, recommend, lead, and implement security controls and modules to ensure sufficient protection of corporate intellectual property and business continuity for customers.
  • Resource Management: Manage operation and internet resources and inventory, including AS#, IP addresses, domains, hardware/software, and ISPs, to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Platform Access: Manage platform accesses and operations in alignment with ISO 27001 & PCI-DSS requirements, ensuring compliance and data protection.
  • Hardware and Software Releases: Manage platform hardware and software releases to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operation.
  • Global Collaboration: Liaise with other global teams and partners in managing and operating data centers worldwide, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
  • Network Management Tools: Implement and maintain network management tools, such as PRTG, Syslog, Nagios, Inter-mapper, etc., to monitor and analyze network performance.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Ensure customer satisfaction through effective handling of security incidents and open communication with customers, addressing their concerns promptly.
  • Standby and Roster Hours: Work on standby, roster, and odd hours as required, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to the role.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 Years Experience: Minimum 5 years experience in a Network/Security position, preferably in a service provider environment, familiar with service design and operation.
  • DDoS Knowledge: Knowledge of DDoS attack types will be an advantage.
  • ISO 27001 and ITIL: Experience in ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, and ITIL are added advantages.
  • Cisco and Juniper Experience: Solid experience in implementing and administrating Cisco and Juniper carrier-grade routers, IPS/IDS, BGP routing protocol, cluster firewalls, load balancers, and Anti-DDoS platforms.
  • Internet Technologies: Good knowledge of internet technologies, including BGP, OSPF, TCP/IP, Anycast, UDP, ICMP, HTTP(S), GRE, SMTP, DNS, and SSL.
  • Language Skills: Good command of English is required, and good command of Mandarin is an advantage.

Compensation: The estimated annual salary for this role is between $120,000 and $180,000, commensurate with experience.
