We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Economist to join our team at Bank Of China (Hong Kong) Limited. As a Senior Economist, you will be responsible for conducting macroeconomic, banking, and financial market research, as well as analyzing industry trends to formulate short, medium, and long-term plans and development strategies for our Financial Markets segment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct in-depth research on macroeconomic, banking, and financial market trends and developments
• Analyze and assess industry trends to formulate strategic plans and development strategies
• Present research findings to internal and external clients
• Coordinate bank-wide or cross-departmental projects
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and development
Requirements:
• Master's degree or above in Business, Economics, or Finance
• At least 5 years of experience in macroeconomics, banking, and financial market research
• Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to work under pressure
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
• Proficiency in Office applications and/or statistical models
