Job Description

The Supply Chain Planner, MNC will ensure optimized stock availability on all materials in the assigned portfolio of products globally.

This role manages stock allocation and balancing, working closely with suppliers and overseas offices for forecast and PO confirmation.

The Supply Chain Planner, MNC supports new product launches by working closely with the New Product Development team, commercial teams, and suppliers.

Additionally, this role keeps a close track of goods supply and evaluates bottlenecks and opportunities for production planning.

Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain or equivalent is required.
  • About 2 years' experience in procurement or planning is necessary.
  • The ideal candidate should be self-driven with sound critical thinking and a good learning attitude.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English and Mandarin is essential.
  • An advanced user of Excel; familiarity with SAP is an advantage.
  • The Supply Chain Planner, MNC will lead strategic, innovative, and improvement initiatives & projects APAC to enhance the performance and capabilities in the Supply Chain & Logistics function.
  • They will partner with different functional and business teams, gaining exposure to different process domains and businesses in the organization.
  • The role involves deploying big data analytics and other methodologies to identify standardization, automation, and/or digitalization opportunities for end-to-end process improvement.
  • The Supply Chain Planner, MNC will partner with regional marketing, commercial, logistics/LSP, and CS teams to provide optimized customer solutions in the designated supply chain area.
  • Focusing on Greater China logistics arrangement and order fulfillment process, including exposure to China customs/tax issues and bonded warehouse orders related operations.
  • There will be opportunities to rotate to upskill/contribute in other supply chain areas in the longer run.
  • The role includes processing orders and maintaining accurate data in the SAP system under the Logistics and Supply Chain Department.
  • Liaising with external service providers on shipping and logistics issues.
  • The Supply Chain Planner, MNC will lead and manage 3PL running a sizable distribution center in Hong Kong to ensure timely and quality in/outbound, inventory, return, and VAS deliverables according to SLA and KPI.
  • Investigating and following up on operational issues and executing action plans with 3PL to ensure efficient operations.
  • Partnering closely with technology, reviewing, proposing, and driving improvement from 3PL distribution center space planning, cost, productivity, to new technology and innovations.
  • Supporting the Head of Merchandising and Operations on all merchandising and planning activities in the Hong Kong and Macau retail and wholesale businesses.
  • Preparing reports and analyses to provide insights on the most effective assortment and allocation.
  • Placing regular orders and keeping track of all merchandise display/packaging items.
