Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive work orders and execute tasks as assigned by managers
  • Supervise outsource contractors and ensure they meet quality standards
  • Maintain an adequate stock of tools and materials for daily operations
  • Conduct regular inspections of electrical and mechanical facilities, record readings, and report findings to the Engineering Manager
  • Operate and maintain electrical, HVAC, fire services, plumbing, drainage, and ELV systems
  • Respond to emergency calls or special duties assigned by the Engineering Manager in case of facility breakdowns or events
  • Assist in setting up major school functions and events
  • Support the Engineering Manager in sustainability initiatives, monitoring effectiveness, and quality of work
  • Participate in Total Quality Control (TQC) work and handover new facilities
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment

Requirements:

Education:

  • Degree in mechanical or electrical engineering from a technical institute
  • Registered Electrical Worker (REW) license A or B from EMSD
  • Licensed Plumber (WSD) preferred

Experience:

  • At least 5 years of experience in E&M system operation, maintenance, and installation
  • Previous experience in hotels, schools, or institutes advantageous
  • Experience in new facilities handover and T&C work beneficial

Skills:

  • Knowledge of AV system operation
  • Basic written and verbal English skills
  • Familiarity with general computer software (e.g., MS Word, MS Excel)
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment
  • Prioritization and time management skills
