Job Description

The Finance Consulting team enables clients to maximize the performance of their Finance function and uses the latest technology to improve insights for growth and governance. As a consultant in this team, you will be involved in helping our clients review their current financial practices, identify possibilities to transform and enhance current business, and implement data-driven decision-making processes.

You will be responsible for delivering large-scale finance & accounting transformation engagements, from finance strategy and target operating model development through finance technology modernization and deployment. This includes conducting benchmarking analysis, developing business cases and roadmaps, designing functional processes and technology architectures, and implementing governance structures and reporting designs.

Additionally, you will assist clients in determining how to optimize their financial and non-financial performance, including defining Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), designing corresponding data models, and establishing processes for planning, budgeting, forecasting, consolidation, reporting, and analytics.

Participating in finance technology-enabled modernization programs is also essential, driving the finance modernization agenda and implementing multi-year programs related to General Ledger and Reporting platform implementations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver large-scale finance & accounting transformation engagements
  • Conduct benchmarking analysis and develop business cases and roadmaps

  • Implement governance structures and reporting designs
  • Assist clients in determining how to optimize their financial and non-financial performance
  • Participate in finance technology-enabled modernization programs
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Banking, Engineering, or Informatics, along with at least 6 years of consulting experience. You must demonstrate a solid understanding of finance operating models, processes, and platforms/systems, as well as a strong track record of managing and implementing related projects.

You should also have experience helping Finance functions address pain-points either as consultants or in-house staff, with a good understanding of common Finance systems and tools used by Finance functions. Experience working with Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) tools, such as Oracle Hyperion, Tagetik, Board, Anaplan, etc., is highly valued.
