Cargo Marketing Assistant Manager

Role Overview:

The Cargo Marketing Assistant Manager plays a key role in supporting the growth of Cathay Pacific Cargo's brand and customer reach through the implementation and execution of integrated branding, marketing, and communications plans across multiple channels and functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Cargo Marketing team in developing and implementing global B2B marketing campaign strategies and plans, including offline, online, and social media advertising, product marketing, brand positioning, and promotion plans.
  • Prepare insightful and actionable briefs for creative and media agencies and drive quality output to achieve defined business and marketing objectives.
  • Manage agency and in-house resources to create and execute media campaigns across relevant communication channels to drive engagement and lead generation.
  • Facilitate regional teams in enhancing brand awareness by rolling out both global and locally adapted communications.
  • Drive the revamp of cargo solutions and oversee website content updates by collaborating with internal teams and external business partners.
  • Coordinate press releases, interviews, and media coverage.
  • Monitor campaign budgets and results to ensure all campaigns have a positive ROI and minimal variance against targeted forecasting.
  • Coach and supervise Marketing Officers in daily routines for quality output.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese.
  • 5-7 years of relevant marketing experience and preferably with a B2B marketing focus. Air cargo, transportation, or logistics background would be advantageous.
  • Awareness of the latest marketing trends and ability to recommend new ideas to enhance strategy.
  • Strong team player with the ability to collaborate across and outside the organization at all levels.
  • Detailed-oriented, with strong project management skills and performance-driven mindset.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects effectively under tight deadlines.
