The Senior Data Architect will be responsible for designing and developing new data products and integrations, maintaining the overall data roadmap, and aligning the data and analytics portfolio to strategic priorities, business dependencies, and operational needs.

Responsibilities:

  1. Data Solution Design: Design and develop new data products and integrations that meet the company's business requirements.
  2. Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with business and functional stakeholders to define and prioritize data and analytics use cases.
  3. Data Roadmap Development: Develop a comprehensive data roadmap that outlines the company's data strategy, goals, and objectives.
  4. Project Management: Manage and balance conflicting business priorities for data.
  5. Industry Trends: Keep abreast of the latest energy industry trends and incorporate them into the data and analytics products.

Requirements:

Senior Data Architect:

  • A degree in Computer Science, IT, Information Engineering, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner, working with data and analytics and/or other business intelligence products.
  • Supervisory and leadership experience.
  • Experience in IT Project/Program Management, IT Service Management, Agile Delivery Methods.
  • Experience in big data/AI/data science is preferable.
  • Experience in the energy sector or other asset-intensive industries is desirable.
  • Knowledge and work experience with MS SQL and cloud technology platforms such as Google Cloud Platform, Azure, and AWS.

Work Environment:

This role offers a permanent/direct contract (2-3 year renewable) opportunity to work with a well-established company in the energy sector.
