About the Role

The Nature Conservancy is seeking an experienced Environmental Conservation Project Manager to lead and manage complex projects across the Hong Kong work programme that contribute to our 2030 goals. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in building the Nature-based Solutions (NbS) evidence base through academic partnerships, demonstrating NbS site projects, and engaging with government, local communities, and other parties to incentivize the uptake of NbS pathways such as coastal wetland restoration.

Main Responsibilities

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Demonstrate sensitivity when handling confidential information.
  • Develop and implement new initiatives to ensure departmental and organizational goals are achieved.
  • Ensure programmatic commitments, Conservancy policies, financial standards, and legal requirements are met and managed for compliance.
  • Manage project budgets and assist with budget development related to strategic projects.
  • Oversee multiple complex projects, including managing project teams, setting deadlines, and ensuring accountability.
  • Maintain open communication channels with stakeholders, including government agencies, community groups, and partners.
  • Travel occasionally and work flexible hours as needed.
