About the RoleWe are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Assistant Manager, Medical Services (Pre-approval). As a Medical Services Manager - Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be accountable to ensure the Insurance business service targets exceed business partner and customer expectations.
You will be responsible for Insurance Business Service oversight, assessment, continuous improvement, and quality reviews. Additionally, you will ensure employee benefits service expectations are defined, measured, and assessed, business impact of service problems is communicated, understood, and actions progressed to prevent re-occurrence.
Key Responsibilities:- Apply best practices for effective communication and problem-solving
- Deliver initiatives and projects per confirmed requirements, agreed timelines, and approved budgets
- Accountable to ensure Insurance service targets exceed business partner and customer expectations with overall responsibility for continuous quality improvement and streamlining of Insurance business services
- Drive and govern Insurance business compliance with global quality policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures to improve quality while increasing cost-effectiveness and excellent levels of risk management
- Maintain strong relationships and liaise with Insurance business functions to ensure customer expectations are understood, measured against, and being met and/or exceeded
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- At least 3 years' relevant pre-approval or claim experience in individual life/medical insurance industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, including communication at all levels of internal counterparts, brokers, or customers, stakeholders
- Own the job attitude, independent, self-motivated, well-organized, good team player, and able to work under pressure
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
- Good computer skill, proficient in MS Office, Excel, and PowerPoint
The estimated salary for this role is $80,000-$120,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. HSBC offers a comprehensive compensation package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
