Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the ongoing development of environmental strategy, initiatives, and targets for our client's APAC portfolio.
- Assisting with regional budget planning and reporting to meet environmental targets.
- Managing the environmental data collection and consolidation process for ESG reporting.
- Monitoring and reporting performance against agreed environmental targets and plans.
- Working with operational teams to implement their roadmap and provide advice on how they can deliver against environmental targets.
- Facilitating the delivery of site assessments and providing guidance on how to reduce emissions.
- Conducting regular catch-up reviews with key stakeholders to advise on progress across relevant sites.
- Maintaining strong relationships with key client stakeholders.
- Effectively tracking and communicating success stories to ensure a high level of awareness and engagement of the sustainability program.
Requirements:
- A motivated sustainability expert with a proven track record of delivering best practice and quality to clients.
- Possess a passion for sustainability issues and tertiary qualifications in sustainability, engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of post-education industry experience, ideally in a property-focused sustainability role with experience in external sustainability reporting.
- Exceptional oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, capable of interacting and influencing a range of stakeholders.
- Developing and improving systems and processes for delivering best practice sustainability performance, monitoring, and reporting.
