  • Design and implement enterprise data architectures that align with the bank's technology roadmaps, ensuring seamless integration of data platforms and services.
  • Provide expert advice on technical best practices, industry trends, and emerging technologies in data-related domains, driving strategic decision-making and innovation.
  • Maintain and review IT technical standards components to ensure alignment with the bank's technology roadmaps, promoting consistency and efficiency across the organization.
  • Identify, evaluate, and manage associated risks related to data architecture, ensuring the security and integrity of sensitive information.
  • Research, identify, and evaluate new technologies or products in the data area that are of value to IT development, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines.
  • 10+ years of experience in the IT industry, with a minimum of 5 years in Data Architect roles, preferably in banking or financial services industries.
  • Strong experience in designing and managing data platforms, including Hadoop, NoSQL, Kafka, Hbase, Flink, and analytic database management systems.
  • Excellent understanding of data architecture, data modeling, data governance, metadata management, data asset management, and enterprise architectures, particularly in Data Mid End architectures.
  • Good knowledge of emerging technologies, market best practices, and industry trends.
  • Proven strategic thinker with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin).
  • Holder of related professional certificates will be an added advantage.
