In this role, you will assist in overseeing the Actuarial IFRS Business Planning team and contribute significantly to:
Production and Evaluation of Business Plans:
Develop comprehensive work plans and guide the team in delivering the IFRS business plan, forecasts, and sensitivity analyses. Conduct thorough analytical reviews to validate the integrity of the results and present findings to management.
Management of KPIs and Change Initiatives:
Support the quantification of management strategies aimed at optimizing and enhancing IFRS operating profits, particularly focusing on year-over-year growth and sustainability.
Enhancement of Business Planning Processes:
Identify opportunities to improve business planning processes and controls to maximize both the quality and efficiency of outputs.
Team Leadership:
Provide mentorship and support to team members on both technical and non-technical matters.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 years of professional experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.
- Fellow or near Fellow Actuary status.
- Experience in financial reporting and management.
- Strong business and financial insight in the life insurance sector.
- Ability to adapt to shifting priorities.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
- Capability to collaborate with diverse personalities, cultures, and business practices in a global organization.
- Commitment to high standards and integrity.
- Proficient in multitasking, flexibility, and thriving in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional written and spoken English skills.
