Position Overview

The Public Relations and Event Management Specialist plays a crucial role in enhancing the visibility and reputation of the organization through effective event planning and public relations strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the organization of various local and international events, including conferences, seminars, and exhibitions.
  • Assist in executing both digital and traditional marketing campaigns.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of the website's user interface and experience.
  • Help design and produce marketing materials such as advertisements, corporate presentations, brochures, and electronic direct mail.
  • Provide essential administrative support to the marketing team.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in event management, including conferences and exhibitions.
  • A Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in fields related to Computer Science, Information Management, or similar disciplines.
  • Basic understanding of web technologies including React, JQuery, MySQL, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, and RESTful services/APIs is advantageous.
  • Experience in the IT or Telecom sectors, as well as in creative agencies, is preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in both written and spoken English and Simplified Chinese.
  • Creative, detail-oriented, independent, and possessing strong project management skills.
  • A collaborative team player with excellent communication abilities.
  • Proactive and capable of working under pressure, with a willingness to work additional hours when necessary.
  • Candidates with more extensive experience may be considered for senior roles.
