Job Title: Associate/ Assistant Vice President, Middle Office

We are seeking a highly skilled Middle Office professional to join our team at Value Partners Limited. As an Associate/ Assistant Vice President, Middle Office, you will play a critical role in supporting our daily middle office activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Order Placement and Allocation: Facilitate the placement and allocation of investment transactions to ensure seamless execution.
  • Portfolio Mandate Compliance: Monitor portfolio mandate restrictions to ensure compliance with investment guidelines and maintain optimal liquidity levels.
  • Cash Monitoring: Conduct regular cash monitoring to identify potential risks and ensure equitable distribution among clients.
  • Fair Allocation Processes: Review and ensure fair allocation processes are in place to maintain client satisfaction.
  • Investment Risk Analysis: Assist in investment risk analysis to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • New Fund Setup: Support the setup of new funds and evaluate new investment products to enhance our portfolio.
  • Client Due Diligence: Participate in client due diligence meetings and address inquiries effectively.
  • Interdepartmental Collaboration: Liaise with brokers, custodians, administrators, and Prime Brokers to ensure smooth fund management workflow.
Requirements:
  • Education: University graduate in a related discipline.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in Middle Office.
  • Skills: Detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize tasks and issues in a time-pressured environment. Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with Bloomberg, Charles River, and Riskmetrics is a plus.
