Role OverviewThis role involves supporting underwriting activities and managing a profitable business portfolio within specified insurance classes. The position requires underwriting new business and renewals of high complexity and volume, while maintaining relationships with lenders.
Key Responsibilities- Perform required underwriting procedures for mortgage loans.
- Assess and respond to exceptions of established credit criteria guidelines.
- Obtain and process information related to the loan origination process.
- Maintain and update credit and underwriting policies.
- Conduct periodic loan audits to ensure compliance with program guidelines.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree holder with loan underwriting experience.
- Knowledge and experience of the Mortgage Insurance Program (MIP) is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and clear communication.
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English.
