We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Markets Manager to join our team at Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG).

Job Summary

This is a full-time opportunity based in Hong Kong. As a Senior Financial Markets Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting the Department Head and leading operations-related projects.

Your primary responsibilities will include providing guidance and structure to ensure consistent, superior execution with controls, maintaining an environment of continuous optimization of team performance and processes, motivating staff, and ensuring they have sufficient skills and knowledge to deal with business growth and mitigate takeover risk.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide full support and assistance to Department Head
  • Support new product launch, lead and participate in operations-related projects
  • Guide and structure to ensure consistent, superior execution with controls and maintain an environment of continuous optimization of team performance and processes
  • Motivate and ensure staff are well-equipped with sufficient skills and knowledge to deal with business growth as well as to mitigate the takeover risk
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders (e.g. compliance, risk etc.) to implement proper operational procedures in regulatory and compliance (e.g. AML, DFA and HKMA-RMS etc.)
Requirements
  • University education or above
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in treasury with not less than 3 years at managerial level
  • Sound knowledge in areas of treasury products
  • Sound knowledge of regulatory requirements on the relevant areas and internal operational policies and procedures
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good leadership and people management skills
  • Computer literacy with good excel skills
  • Proficiency in Cantonese and English
