The purpose of this role is to support underwriting activities and assist in managing a profitable business portfolio within specified insurance classes. This includes underwriting new business and renewals of high complexity and volume, while maintaining relationships with lenders.
Key Responsibilities- Loan Origination Support: Obtain and process information related to the loan origination process.
- Credit Policy Updates: Maintain and update credit and underwriting policies.
- Risk Assessment: Assess and respond to exceptions of established credit criteria guidelines.
- Portfolio Management: Conduct periodic loan audits to ensure compliance with program guidelines.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree holder with loan underwriting experience.
- Knowledge and experience of the Mortgage Insurance Program (MIP) is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and clear communication.
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English.
