Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Information Technology Officer to join our team at the City University of Hong Kong. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing general clerical and IT support, including the operation of computer hardware and software, as well as assisting in office moves and set up of PC and its accessories for new staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide general clerical and IT support, including the operation of computer hardware and software, copiers, printers, IP cameras and phones, mobile phones, fax devices, email accounts, AV equipment, tele- and video-conference tools;
  • Assist in office move and set up of PC and its accessories for new staff;
  • Be responsible for preparation, submission and record keeping of Purchase Requisition and Purchase Order;
  • Assist in the fixed asset management of the Office;
  • Manage and update the Office's website and intranet;
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • 5 passes (Grade E/Level 2) in HKCEE/HKDSEE including English Language (at least Grade C if Syllabus A), Chinese Language and Mathematics, preferably with a Higher Diploma or above in Computer Studies;
  • At least 2 years' working experience in IT support, system development and smart applications;
  • Proficiency in MS Office (including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Access) and Macro;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team are required.
  • Experience in client servicing and/or knowledge of facilities management, Building Management System (BMS) and Building Information Modelling (BIM) are preferred.
