Main Responsibilities

  1. Direct the Product Development Team, encompassing Cloud, App, Embedded Software, Hardware, and Mechanical Design teams.
  2. Authorise Performance-Related Bonuses for Development Team members.
  3. Ensure timely delivery of new products to market according to agreed timelines and budgets.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish product specifications, development objectives, schedules, and budgets.
  5. Design systems architecture and test plans for new products.
  6. Manage project synchronisation, encompassing planning, resource allocation, reporting, risk management, test/validation, equipment organisation, and budget control.
  7. Guarantee product development uniformity, ensuring milestones and budgets are met or surpassed.
  8. Develop technology roadmaps aligned with the Company's strategic vision.
  9. Foster strong relationships with customers, providing technical insights to support Sales Teams in securing deals.

Essential Requirements

  1. Bachelor or Master Degree in Electronics Engineering or Computer Science.
  2. Minimum 10 years' experience in product development, with at least 5+ years in a managerial capacity; experience with wireless communication products/systems is desirable.
  3. Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate teams towards shared goals.
  4. Strong team player with the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders to introduce new products.
  5. Pragmatic approach, willing to take on hands-on roles and provide practical guidance to team members.
  6. Strong leadership and reporting abilities, organised, and adept at multitasking.
  7. Self-driven individual capable of persevering, particularly in challenging circumstances.
  8. Proficient in conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  9. Practical experience with Cloud and App-based product development or embedded products for communication applications would be beneficial.
  10. Fluency in English is mandatory.
  11. Experience working in PRC is necessary.
