Job Title: Senior Agile Project Manager, Transformation Leader

 

We are seeking an experienced Senior Agile Project Manager to lead our global transformation projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the success of our project delivery end-to-end using agile frameworks like Scrum.

 

You will work closely with IT project managers, technical teams, and business teams in corporate and hotels to:

  • Apply agile frameworks and embody the four main Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-up, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective).
  • Transform from traditional waterfall methods to modern agile approaches, including:
  • Rigid project requirements to flexible ones.
  • Lesson learning at the end of a project to continuous learning throughout the process.
  • Faster feedbacks in every cycle of sprint to save time and cost for rework.
Inspire the company to adopt and smooth out the agile approach, maximizing values for the company.

 

Critical Responsibilities:

 

  • Agile Project Management:
    • Work closely with project squad teams, providing guidance and ensuring adherence to agile principles.
    • Ensure the 4 Scrum ceremonies and related events take place.
    • Identify, monitor, and track project progress, risks, and issues.
    • Help teams remove roadblocks and handle issues with stakeholders in a timely manner.
    • Follow up on end-to-end project delivery.
    • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, facilitate discussions, decision-making, and conflict resolution.
    • Perform status/progress reporting.
    • Manage vendors and stakeholders.
    • Backlog Management:
      • Record information like user stories, tasks, test cases, and issues in an agile tool like Jira, making it easier to visualize current sprint status, current backlog, WIP, and so on.
      • Prioritize and groom the backlog with business teams before sprint planning starts.
      • Agile Tools and Microsoft Visio:
        • Use agile-related tools like Jira to maintain projects.
        • Visualize ideas and current information using diagrams for team alignment and obtain valuable feedbacks.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • University degree holder in project management or IT-related fields.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in agile project implementation for large multinational corporations.
  • Solid experience as a project manager to lead corporate-sized projects.
  • Knowledge/experience in using agile tools like Jira and Microsoft Visio to draw diagrams like flowcharts and user journey maps as project documents.
  • Strong communication skills and interest in communicating with different stakeholders across countries.
  • Proficiency in problem-solving, time management, and status reporting.
  • PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and/or relevant Agile/Scrum certification preferred.
  • Proficient in English and Mandarin.

 

We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus benefits and opportunities for growth and development.
