Job Description

KOS International Limited seeks a seasoned Credit Risk Manager to oversee the evaluation and management of credit risks. This role is pivotal in ensuring the bank's lending activities align with prudent risk policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess credit applications, conducting in-depth financial analysis, and evaluating borrowers' creditworthiness to determine appropriate lending decisions.
  • Analyze and interpret financial statements, cash flow projections, and other relevant financial data to assess credit risks associated with corporate and individual clients.
  • Develop and implement credit risk assessment frameworks and methodologies to ensure effective risk mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with lending officers and relationship managers to structure credit transactions that meet the needs of both the bank and the client while maintaining acceptable risk levels.
  • Monitor and review existing credit exposures, identifying potential risks and taking proactive measures to mitigate and manage those risks.
  • Stay up to date with market trends, industry regulations, and economic conditions that may impact credit risk profiles.
  • Provide regular reports and recommendations to senior management regarding credit portfolio quality, trends, and potential areas of concern.
  • Assist in the development and enhancement of credit risk policies, procedures, and underwriting guidelines.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications in risk management, credit analysis, or related areas (e.g., Certified Credit Risk Analyst).
  • Proven experience as a Credit Risk Officer or in a similar role within the banking industry.
  • Strong knowledge of credit risk assessment methodologies, financial analysis, and lending principles.
  • Familiarity with HKMA/SFC regulatory requirements related to credit risk management.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex financial information and make sound judgments.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in credit analysis and documentation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate credit decisions and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent in Chinese and English.
