DBS Bank is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Dealer to join our Central Dealing Unit in Private Banking. As a Senior Dealer, you will be responsible for providing accurate and efficient order execution services to our relationship managers in Hong Kong and Singapore.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide global cash equity products order execution services to Private Banking & Treasures Private Client segment
  • Provide daily price quotation service on cash equity products to Relationship Managers
  • Reconcile daily trade blotters with brokers and counterparties
  • Stay updated with latest developments in investment markets and products
  • Coach and supervise subordinates in the discharge of their job duties and objectives
  • Perform and comply with the registered capacity of regulated activities, type 1 & 4, specified under the Securities and Futures Ordinance (SFO) and Financial Markets Regulatory Practice (FMRP) in Singapore under MAS
  • Comply with internal guidelines and those stipulated from the regulators

Requirements

  • University degree, with preferred professional qualification in the Finance or Investment fields
  • Must be registered RI [Regulated Activities: Type 1 & 4 or 1, 4 & 9 (as required)]
  • 6 years or above dealing room and management experience
  • Good understanding of Equity market
  • Clear mindset and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Well-versed in Cantonese and English (Mandarin a plus)
  • Good communication & Interpersonal skills
  • Attention to details
  • Tidy and strong in time management
  • Reactive and good in problem-solving
  • Familiar with MS Office
