Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Chemist to join our team as a Formulation & Development Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing pharmaceutical development programs for innovative products, working with a team of professionals to develop platform technology, and acquiring a deep understanding of scientific knowledge and technical know-how required for pharmaceutical advanced formulation technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Formulation & Technology Development
    • Assist in the development of new formulations and technologies for our health products
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of projects
  • Method Development & Validation
    • Design and develop analytical methods for ingredient selection and testing of R&D-sourced TCM materials
    • Validate and transfer analytical methods to the QC team
  • Instrumentation & Laboratory Operations
    • Operate and maintain analytical instruments such as HPLC, LC-MS, and HPTLC
    • Supervise junior staff in performing laboratory tasks
  • Record Keeping & Database Management
    • Maintain a database of records, including methodology and results
    • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of laboratory data
Requirements
  • Education
    • Degree or above in Chemistry, Traditional Chinese Medicines, or Pharmaceutical Science
  • Experience
    • More than 3 years of experience in HPLC analytical method development in pharmaceutical and TCM areas
  • Skills
    • Familiarity with HPLC, LC-MS, and HPTLC instrumentation
    • Independent work with minimal supervision
    • Knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine and understanding of specific markers responsible for health functions
