Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Senior Programme Officer in the School of Data Science.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Programme Director/Coordinator in preparing programme proposals and conducting relevant surveys.
- Perform a wide range of administrative duties to ensure the smooth operation of the programme, including programme management and operation, admission and promotion, and other tasks.
- Administer the admission, registration, document verification, and visa application processes.
- Coordinate administrative processes for course arrangement, examinations, student activities, course evaluations, and events.
- Handle purchases, reimbursement, payments, and other financial and budgeting matters.
- Liaise with internal and external parties.
- Handle quality assurance related matters, including secretary duties related to various committees.
- Prepare annual programme reports and other required reports, as well as data reporting to various units of the university.
Requirements
- A recognized Bachelor's degree with relevant experience in the tertiary education sector; for Senior Programme Officer, the candidate should have at least four years of relevant working experience.
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
- High level of competence in computer literacy.
- Good team spirit with a strong sense of responsibility and willingness to go the extra mile to complete tasks before deadlines.
- Willingness to assume various responsibilities with a passionate attitude.
- Proactive mindset and strong analytical ability to carry out duties independently and efficiently with minimum supervision.
