About the Role
We are seeking an experienced professional to supervise and guide subordinates in a dynamic team environment. The ideal candidate will monitor corporate actions announcements, release advice to clients, and handle proxy voting according to client instructions.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assist Team Manager to ensure smooth operation of the section.
  • Monitor CCASS broadcasts, HKEX website, share registrars, and sub-custodians for corporate actions announcements.
  • Release corporate actions advice to clients and act on their subsequent instructions.
  • Distribute corporate action entitlements to clients in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Handle proxy voting according to client instructions.
  • Process lodgments, coupon payments, and redemptions of paying agent services.
  • Provide second-level client services in relation to corporate actions and nominee services.
  • Resolve customer inquiries and escalate problems efficiently.
  • Perform day-to-day operations, checking work done, reconciliation of General Ledger accounts, and report suspicious transactions.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing for system enhancements and review business requirements.

Requirements
  • University graduates with 7+ years of relevant experience in securities operations.
  • Good performers have opportunities to rotate to other functions on a fast track for development into well-rounded professionals in custody operations.
  • Capability to lead a small team and play a Checker role within the department.
  • Knowledge of CCASS, SFC rules, SFO, and HKICL.
  • Accuracy and thoroughness in work.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of MS Office.
  • Result- and customer-oriented.
  • Positive attitude and self-motivated.
  • Good team player, supportive and flexible to take up team tasks.
  • Good command of English and Chinese (both spoken & written).
