About the Position

The Division of Social Science at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology is seeking a highly qualified individual to fill a position in Psychology. As a leading research university with an international faculty, we are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive academic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a strong research program in Psychology, with a focus on publishing high-quality research papers and securing grant funding.
  • Teach courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, including introductory psychology courses and advanced seminars.
  • Contribute to the Division's minor program in Psychology, including curriculum development and advising students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the university to advance the field of Psychology and promote interdisciplinary research.

Requirements

  • PhD degree in Psychology or a related field by the time of employment.
  • Strong research and teaching record, with a demonstrated ability to publish in top-tier journals and secure grant funding.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and external partners.
