The Department of Psychology is the newest addition to the Faculty of Social Sciences, presenting an exciting opportunity to join a multidisciplinary team.

The Department capitalizes on the expertise of faculty members in areas such as positive occupational health psychology, psychological well-being, social psychology, and cross-cultural psychology.

In alignment with the liberal arts ethos of the University, the Department is committed to delivering high-quality education and fostering a supportive learning environment for students.


General Requirements
Candidates should possess a degree in Psychology, relevant teaching experience, and a strong publication record. Applicants must provide information regarding their research grant achievements and demonstrate quality teaching capabilities. Exceptional communication and presentation skills are essential. Experience in crafting competitive grant proposals will be considered an advantage. The appointees should be prepared to teach master-level psychology courses.

Preferred teaching subjects include "Research Methods in Work Psychology", "Occupational Health Psychology", "Psychology of IT at Work", "Consumer Psychology", and "Social Problem Solving and Decision Making in the Modern World".

The appointee will engage in scholarly research, assist in supervising student research projects and consultancy initiatives for the research center, and undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

Appointees are expected to demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching excellence and contribute to the Department and University community while actively participating in quality research and publication efforts.


Appointment

A competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, along with fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental coverage, mandatory provident fund, gratuity, and allowances for incoming passage and baggage.

Experienced candidates may hold the functional title of Research Assistant Professor.

Appointments are typically made on a fixed-term contract of up to two years, with the possibility of renewal based on satisfactory performance.
