**Job Description**

As a key member of the Bank Of China (Hong Kong) Limited team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our financial reporting. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in audit management and risk assessment to drive business growth and enhance organizational efficiency.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Reporting and Compliance: Develop and maintain comprehensive reports for the Audit Committee, Senior Management, and Head Office, ensuring timely submission and adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Audit Quality Assurance: Oversee the quality assessment of internal and external audit work, implementing recommendations to improve processes and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Risk Management: Monitor and review the department's management of operational risks, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to mitigate potential threats.
  • Communication and Coordination: Liaise with external parties, including regulatory agencies and external auditors, to facilitate effective communication and coordination.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement the department's medium-term and long-term audit plans, annual work plans, and work summaries, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Talent Development: Design and coordinate audit personnel training programs and development strategies, promoting a strong audit culture within the organization.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate in developing work regulations for managing internal and external audits, identifying opportunities for process enhancement and implementation.

**Requirements:**

  • Degree or above in Accountancy, Finance, Statistics, Risk Management, or related disciplines.
  • 4 years' or above experience in audit firms (preferably with sizable audit firm), or financial institutions.
  • Professional qualification of CPA or CIA or equivalent; CFA, FRM will be a plus.
  • Familiarity with relevant local laws & regulations, standards, and market practices in Hong Kong.
  • Good team-player with excellent project management, communication, and interpersonal skills, competence of supervision, good analytical report writing, and self-motivated.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written Chinese and English, with good command of Mandarin.
