About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections of audit working papers to assess compliance with professional standards. This involves meeting with firm personnel to understand their quality control systems and related impact on audit quality. The auditor will also prepare detailed reports on inspection findings and communicate results with audit firms.

  • Certified Public Accountant registration with the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants or membership with an accountancy body that is part of the International Federation of Accountants;
  • Solid technical background with at least 3 years of post-qualification audit experience;
  • Extensive knowledge in financial reporting and auditing;
  • Experience in quality assurance is advantageous;
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese;
  • Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritise work effectively;
  • Proactive approach with a strong sense of responsibility, detail-minded, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks;
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
