We offer an attractive salary package of HKD 70,000 per month, commensurate with experience, as well as fringe benefits such as medical benefits and paid leave.
Job Description
As a Research Assistant, you will work closely with our faculty team on the role of traditional and alternative data in equity markets and investments. Your responsibilities will include performing specific research tasks, identifying stock market anomalies, testing quantitative investment strategies, and other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Applicants should have a master's degree in economics, finance, or a related discipline. The ideal candidates should be familiar with security valuation/pricing and modern portfolio theories; able to read/present academic literature on the capital markets; possess strong quantitative skills and experience in data cleansing, data manipulation, and analysis; proficient in Python programming; have a proactive and research mindset; and be able to work independently and team-oriented with good interpersonal skills. Knowledge of machine learning is an added advantage.
