Job Overview

The Private Banker Principal role at Citi is a strategic position that requires a deep understanding of clients' businesses and sources of wealth generation. This individual will be responsible for establishing long-term relationships with high net worth clients, providing them with customized financial solutions, and helping them achieve their broad financial goals related to the creation and management of wealth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Acquisition and Relationship Building: Identify prospects, establish contact, and convert them into clients through exceptional relationship building skills.
  • Financial Planning and Advice: Provide trusted advice on financial matters, anticipating events that may have significant financial implications for clients.
  • Solution Development: Develop tailored solutions to address clients' investment, risk management, and financing/liquidity needs, bringing together product experts as needed.
  • Client Satisfaction and Retention: Ensure client expectations are met, maintain full understanding of client goals and risk tolerance, and uncover unarticulated needs.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Extensive Experience: 15+ years of experience in Private Banking, preferably covering the UHNW market, with a proven track record in relationship selling.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred.
