About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Developer to join our team at Classy Wheeler Limited. As a Business Systems Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing technical solutions to support our business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Solutions
- Work on the new Practice Management System (PMS) project to provide technical solutions for our business intelligence and reporting needs.
- Collaborate with our technology partners to develop our new reporting data warehouse.
- Develop the front-end application Spotlight, using the Cognos framework.
- Develop key transactional reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
- Assist in the support of our existing reporting systems, including SSRS, Redwood Business Intelligence, and Clarity.
- Demonstrate our company values of individuality, commitment, teamwork, and straight talking.
- Maintain a service-focused attitude and professional manner, suitable for a commercial law firm.
- Exhibit confident and clear communication with people at all levels of our business hierarchy.
- Respond quickly to requests, manage time effectively, and work under pressure.
- Be proactive, hardworking, organized, and able to structure your own work.
- Work well as part of a team and follow direction.
- Use initiative and make suggestions to improve processes where required.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Requirements
- ITIL certification.
- Expertise in MS SQL programming, including SSRS, SSIS, and SSAS.
- Proficiency in SQL Server and T-SQL (DDL and DML) in constructing tables and normalization techniques on database tables.
- Expertise in creating and using stored procedures, views, and user-defined functions.
- Previous experience in a Professional Services firm is preferred.
- Aderant Expert knowledge is advantageous.
