Responsibilities:
  • The successful candidate will perform 24/7 support, administration, and implementation on IT networks (data & voice) and security systems according to defined policies, processes, and procedures.
  • They will follow change control procedures to execute network changes, including configuring routing and switching equipment, hosted IP voice services, and firewalls in a timely manner.
  • The candidate will participate in project management implementation processes, maximize network performance, and undertake data network fault investigations in local and wide area environments.
  • They will report network operational status, upgrade data network equipment, and liaise with project management teams, third-line engineers, and service desk engineers on a regular basis.
Requirements:
  • A university graduate in Computer Science or Information Technology related disciplines.
  • A minimum of 5 years relevant experience in infrastructure administration and support, preferably in a financial institution.
  • Familiarity with the following platforms/systems: LAN & WAN, Telephony Systems, Network Monitoring Tools, and Security Products (e.g., Cisco routers, Cisco/Huawei switches, Avaya PABX, WFO, Checkpoint/Juniper/Cisco Firewalls/F5 Load Balancer).
  • Experience supporting VDI or Huawei SDN is an advantage.
  • Self-initiated to deliver excellent services.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure with integrity.
  • Positive attitude with a high sense of responsibility and can-do spirit.
  • Good analytical & communication skills.
