Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and supervise the construction of landscape works, including preservation and protection of existing trees and tree risk assessment.
  • Provide professional advice on landscape works, including landscape hardworks, landscape softworks, establishment works, tree works, and tree risk assessment related matters.
  • Review and vet submissions for landscape works, including landscape hardworks, landscape softworks, establishment works, tree works, and tree risk assessment related matters.
  • Carry out duties assigned by the Supervising Officer or his Representatives.
  • Check landscape works, including landscape hardworks, landscape softworks, establishment works, tree works, and tree risk assessment related submissions.

Requirements:

  • Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (DSEE) or Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent.
  • 1 year post-qualification relevant experience.
  • A professional member of the Hong Kong Institute of Landscape Architects who is also a registered landscape architect as accepted by the Landscape Architects Registration Board of Hong Kong under the Landscape Architects Registration Ordinance (Cap.516).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Candidate with insufficient post-qualification experience but passed the PPE exam of HKILA may be considered.
  • Candidate without passing the PPE exam of HKILA but with sufficient relevant experience may be considered.
